Dreyfus was so good as Cheney, I forgot that I was watching an actor. He has one scene where he persuades everyone where America should go. Dense and well written, I'd like to see it again. I wonder if it will show up on utube.

I haven't seen this yet. Dreyfus is good in anything he does. I'm reading mixed reviews, so I'm anxious to see it myself!

Some of the negative reviews seemed to be based on what is expected of Oliver Stone. Maybe he is aging into just a graceful and very good story teller without the paranoias of youth.

My partner and I both saw it last Sunday and we were split in our opinions of it. I liked it much better than she did. I agree that Dryfus as Cheney was phenomenal.

Thanks, too, for dropping by my blog and leaving your comment on the post honoring the Samuel Barber violin concerto. Beautiful piece, indeed.
