This picture filched from Paneramico goes with the post above.

The next day we did have to leave. The train sped along to Alberville, where there was a spectacular fold of rock high up in the mountains. After leaving the mountains behind, the train went incredibly fast through mournful countryside. We had been forced to go TGV first class which was somewhat dilapitated. The seat fabric was torn and Cathy's tray was broken. Still, we were on a second level. Not very good food cost 19 euro's.
