Last night , after Cathy had taken the dog out, we watched The President on 60 minutes. In The White House garden, a magnolia was in full bloom. Then the Amazing Race took us to Jaipur and, as usual, we had our obligatory visit down Wisteria Lane. Slept well. The streetcar was 25 minutes late this morning and then I fell asleep on it, waking up near Degrassi Street,(the real one). I skipped Starbucks and was late enough for work to give them an extra twenty minutes at the end of my day. A M, the big boss's birthday. Pizza and cake. We've ordered HDTV and it is spectacular, spectacular.

Marc, life is opening up, nudging us to do the same. Life moves life, dirt moves over for green shoots. This is a lovely post.

We've got a magnolia like this in the shrubbery but it seems to be very late this year. Two more weeks and I'll take a photo.

Hope you sleep well tonight

SG and FF: Yes, back to normal, more or less. It was actually a help to be able to express some of it semi-publicly.

Yup, the semi-public blog, a great invention and I am so glad it is supported by a huge corporation like Google.

I notice that almost all of this group shuns adsense.

Perhaps some charity will catch our eyes and we will all flock over to advertising Amnesty International, or Medecins Sans Frontieres, or something. If it happens I will follow the pack.

Hmm. I'm not sure they do ads on blogs, but it's certainly possible to add a gadget to link to such sites. Good idea.

The HDTV is great, isn't it? Darn. I would have enjoyed that 60 Minutes piece.

Can't wait for our magnolia to bloom.
