How intriguing to find people who made stuff you enjoy.
I love wrought iron. There was a lovely little shop in Warsaw, Poland with wonderful pieces, all hand made wrought iron, I visited in 1989. I should have bought more than just the one candleabra I brought home.
Hello, In the Toronto area (Dufferin Street and Tycos Avenue, near Yorkdale Mall) there is a company called "Steptoe & Wife" who have been involved in decorative iron works since the early 1970's. The website is http://www.steptoewife.com/ I don't know if they use any of your artisan's products but it is interesting how a large enough metropolis can attract multiple vendors of a product and or service which is what a true "marketplace" is all about.
Why is wrought iron sometimes rusty and sometimes not? At the Queensway Cineplex cinemas there is a huge art piece-gate, which is deliverately rusted. In the late winter, when the dawn sun just hit it, it looked wonderful and enraptured me on my way to work.
