We live in such a flat part of North America, that when we see clouds like these on the horizon, we say, "Are those the mountains over there?" and for a moment we share the fantasy that we are driving towards mountains like these. It is odd that millions of people sometimes live in the dullest countryside. Even the land surrounding New York is more exciting than the one around Toronto. Here we must search for the details.

Well, central Ohio is pretty darn flat and boring. But I do have a certain fondness for the midwest and the farmland of my ancestors.

Baby feet. I always want to kiss them.
