Is this scary? liberating? impoverishing? Will it give you the chance to do all the things you didn't have time for in the past?

My husband (mid 60s) has greatly reduced the number of hours that he works, from 5.5 days a week to 4.5 days a week, so I am grateful for that. But I wish he would drop it down further.

Right now we are both a bit underemployed, but very relieved no longer to be at our work. We are really at an in between stage when we have not settled on what to do with the rest of our lives.It's nice getting up when we wake up and going to bed when we like.
