We are staying on the outskirts of this small village in Sussex. The weather is ideal. Sunny, breezy, not too hot and not too cold. The greenery is amazing. So far I have seen a crane or heron in flight, a very calm, even nonchalant, fox and countless rabbits. My brother, whose house we are staying in, exhorts me to get out and do some weeding, but I am quite content to sit and look at the land as developed and as left to nature by others.
