Various bloggers

Home from the hospital at last. Yesterday I eventually had the catheterisation which essentially dicovered that there was nothing seriously wrong with my heart and this morning the nice resident Karen T told me they suspected the very thing I had suggested to Cathy last Wednesday, namely that my heart gets short of oxygen when I get apnea and hurts like hell at first but then gets oxygen and hurts less and less. Still, I really enjoyed the rest and got into the drama of possibly dying and remaining dispassionate about it. I've decided to open up more in this blog since so few people read them anyway.

OK there are no images here on the old hospital computer that I can use. I have been frustrated all evenning by not being able to get on the internet on David's laptop, however here I am not doing much more than bla bla bla on this old internet connnection. Alice called me and was as Noel Coward would say "awfully sweet". I also had a long conversation with Kim earlier. Now everyone knows. Apparently at work the rumour was that I had had a heart attack. Definitely angioplasty on Monday morning. Nothing to eat after midnight. Kim insists that I insist that I will travel and Alice insists that I must not if they tell me not to. Some diorreah tonight probably from the crossant I could not refrain from at breakfast and or the Werthers which Matthew so sweetly brought me last night. Cathy has been very loyal coming every day, but obviously bored especially when she had finnished her book.
From Hospital: Last Tuesday I woke to that tightness in my chest again and also the tooth ach across my whole jaw. At Cathy's urging I called telehealth, called in sick and went to hospital at 11.30. After much delay they treated me with some alarm which ended up as possible angina. I am here still, now on the luxurious transplant ward waiting an angioplasty and possibly insertion of a stent in one of the arteries leading to the heart. Kim calls it a wake up call. I'm going to get a lot more "I told you so" s in the next few days. The wedding approaches. Gareth and KIm both taking on too much. Cathy says I should rent a suit. Great idea. Must go and rejoin her.
